The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Yes! I love to travel for weddings, exploring new places and new venues get my creativity in full flow! For weddings outside my 50 mile catchment area there is a travel fee.
How long have you been doing this?
I did my first wedding when I was only 17, 10 years ago! I've learned a lot since then having photographed dozens of weddings since!
How many photos do we get?
While this does vary from wedding to wedding a rough guide is 350 images for a half day coverage and 600 for a full day. That said I don't place any limits, whatever turns out you'll get, often much more!
How do we get our photos?
All wedding galleries are posted to you on a USB in a wooden keepsake box with a few 6x4 prints of my favourite photos from your wedding!
Do you retouch photos?
I edit all my photographs in my personal style. However I use the word edit lightly, I don't photoshop your face or body, or add in missing uncles to your group photos! I rather process your photos by adjusting exposure and colour tones and straightening and cropping photos.
How long do we need for photos?
The million dollar question! And something I will work out with you as every wedding is different! A rough rule of thumb is 5 minutes per group and 30-45 minutes for your couples portraits.
How do we book you?
Just fill in my contact form!
Can you help us with planning?
For sure! I always make myself available to my clients' for any questions they may have.
How far out do you book?
Up to 18 months in advance, but if you're super organized do get in touch especially for summer weddings as these weekends book up first!
What should we do for an engagement session?
Well you should definitely have one! I'm extremely biased though because they are some of my favourite sessions! When choosing a location I like to ask if there is a spot you guys love or that is sentimental. Failing that I have a list of locations I think would make perfect backdrop for your pictures! Engagement sessions are a great time to work together and get you comfortable in front of the camera!
What should we wear?
For couples and engagement sessions I have outfit guides to help you, but ultimately something that makes you feel confident and comfortable! Hair and makeup are always a good idea. Lastly any props that bring your personality into the pictures are great!
